But given that your post included a lispy "yeth" when you were talking about men and shoulder straps, and went out of your way to state that you would never do so (use a shoulder strap), it just seemed to me that you had given this topic a bit too much thought.

I use my laptop bag's shoulder strap all the time. Leaves my hands free for coffee and a donut.
