As I understand she had American protection at the time. The notion that there were Arab men in the room shows entirely too much deference for someone who was imprisoned.

Right ~ first thing someone is going to do in this sort of situation is change clothes/not!

First thing is to make sure you are safe and miles away, and among friends.

Still, the situation you are referring to had her in the hands of members of a political party we'd best think about disposing of, not the US military.

You saw NOTHING once we had her.

After what she went through wouldn't you just want to get out of the country before saying anything?

She may have even been asked by the US military to keep it tame until she gets out as to not make their job more difficult. Who knows.
