Yesterday - Friday, in my south Texas city 43 illegials were detained and turned over to Immigration Customs Enforcement.
The County deputies got a tip from a tractor-trailor driver who saw a pickup full of people. The deputies arranged for the TT-truck driver to cross a bridge and block it off at the other end so they could catch the driver [coyote] along with the others.
The people in the first pickup described three more vehicles carrying illegals that were following.
One of the trucks had been stolen from another Texas city.
On Thursday, another 10 illegals were caught. When they stopped that truck 15 people bailed out and ran into the brush. All but 5 were caught. All of the vehicles involved were impounded.
Can you imagine what is going through here on a daily basis?
