Im not sure what to make of it. Im one of those polled. The questions are often loaded against us with no proper response available for us. Ive sent emails asking whether they have a team that writes the survey for the client or whether the client defines the questions and they just ask them but I have never gotten a response.
The problem, temporarily disregarding any conspiratorial angle, is that polytickians apparently act on the results as the will of the people without actually having any clue what the argument was to begin with.
1. Have you stopped beating your wife?
A. Yes (polytickian reads as "need more money for social programs: PTS counseling for the battered)
B. No (polytickian reads as "need new anti-violence laws")
C.Dont Know (of course I know but its not these stupid reasons, polytickian reads "too stupid to vote")
C. Dont Know (of course "I know" but its a loaded question with therefor invalid answers, polytickian reads "too stupid to vote")

I've noticed how Zogby (and other pollsters) prhase questions that make the answer seem an admission of guilt no matter how you answer it.
I too have emailed them about their phrasing.
