Actually, she talked to the News & Observer herself and gave the story about her father coming to the hospital.
And he talked to the Charlotte Observer at his own home and gave his account.
The court order only applied to the three residents of the house.
How the rest of the time got involved, I have no idea.
Five is all that I see accounted for in any of the stories.
I read somewhere today (I think) that she was contacted sometime around 8:30 to go to the house.
"* March 27: Details about the accuser's story are revealed in court documents, and a records search shows that in the past three years, about a third of the players have appeared in court on misdemeanor charges stemming from drunken and disruptive behavior. The court orders say evidence was found in the house to support the accuser's story and that she underwent a medical examination. The report says her injuries and demeanor were consistent with those of an assault victim."

i think something did happen there, but it unclear exactly what.
If you dont count Paris and Helen of Troy!
>>>I don't think Kobe was innocent or guilty, he's just scum that committed the most expensive sexual act in recorded history (lost endorsement contracts).
Agreed. I hope we find out the truth.
BTW, and just as a detail for the story's accuracy, the AV has a few misdemeanor charges of her own.
He was the father of a likely illegitimate child.
after reading about her real job (a prostitute) and the duke students' police records, i am getting the impression that two prostitutes were hired for a drunken party that got very out of control.
imagine two prostitutes in a house with a whole bunch of drunken lacrosse players, one third of whom have been arrested previously.
anything could have happened there.
I disagree. If it turns out they are innocent, there will be a last brief round of condemnation of white people, and then the story will disappear.
I think I misspoke; I should have said when it is announced that they are innocent and/or no charges will be filed, all hell is going to break loose.
If contacted by pim....errr, I mean employer at 8:30 but doesn't arrive at jobsite until three and a half hours later, would that not imply an intervening engagement?
Why even interview the ENTIRE team. How about establishing who was in the home and interviewing those who were there?
So we've got 5 members of a team at a party with close to 50 people present, but somehow this DA has the entire team guilty in the press?
you're right--there is something very wrong with this story.
There certainly was time, not that I know how long it "takes." :-)
I wonder why she or the other dance cannot identify which ones attacked her -- or at least one of them. I mean, all accounts say some guy was leaning in their car window.
Hmm, depends on whether they are real or fictional people I guess.
the fact the the DA is a sleazy, lying politico who has prejudged the case and is using it for his election campaign does not really say much about whether a rape actually occurred.
if there was a rape, there should be medical evidence.
I now this may sound like a stupid question
But considering how this case is going so far
Did the DA's office even interview them yet?
I don't get the ID problem either. Unless she's using the all white people look alike excuse.
