The proper approach is to first fix the enforcement system and then to undertake a national discussion about immigration, considering how to justly handle those here illegally and what rules should govern future immigration levels. We also have not effectively dealt with the national security issues.

Fortunately, the House of Representatives has passed a solid bill, and there will be an opportunity to improve the Senate version in the days to come.”

sounds like 20% of the American people don't know their own mind---or maybe this poll is baloney.

Note the word "all" is attached to the latter, not the former. Erase the "all" you'll get a different result. Add "all" to the first you will get a different result."

Small technical point here. calling is much better than writing. The phone call number is the one they pay attention to, according to what I've been told. Maybe because there's no way to mechanize it.

Firstly it polls anybody called "adult. Not citizens, not legal residents, and finally not likely voters.

Next, the mix Republican vs. Democrat seems off. Maybe correcting for likely voter would remedy this flaw?

The recent polls are all over the place.

Congress and this President will probably pass guest worker, limited path to citizenship, eyewash about the border, etc.

The left backed up by neocons, big business, and most labor unions, have spent years spreading propoganda and framing the issue on their terms.
The American people have been told that illegal immigrants contribute to the economy. That is a lie.
They have been told that these people share our values and love this country. That is a lie.
Our president has claimed that "Family values don't end at the border." If he means that Mexican-Americans follow traditional family structures, he is lying. 44% of their children are born out of wedlock. (Whether he means that their is some shared loyalty between the Bushes and the family of Jeb's wife is another issue.)

Above and beyond that, for over 40 years the elite has attackede any and all groups defending our heritage, shared history, and ethnic past. Now Bush call us racist for opposing the wishes of MEChA.

Nothing short of a national advertising campaign will save us.
