It would be nice to see the Capitol Police stand up and say enough is enough and persue it but I don't think it will happen.

Oh, please. "Touching her" is now a crime? Does this pompus, illiterate, bag-of-wind really believe she's the second coming because she's black?
To: Cecily
Is she accusing him of some type of sexual molestation or sexual harrassment???
To: Cecily
Man she is out of touch, only illegal aliens from Mexico can claim racism now and push our law enforcement around..didn't she get the memo?
To: jazusamo
They can't really make any statements about this until after any trial that takes place and even then decorum usually prevents it.
They're playing by the rules on this one - notice how nobody has leaked the tape out?

This is all so predictable.
Maybe the Officer can get off by attending sensitivity training classes.

Re#9 They know she has exposure. Hence the scorched earth preemptive strike. They are setting up a huge "historical profiling by race" defense. It will be a DC jury, after all. Here's hoping the judge does not let them play the game absent compelling proof. Gotta run, have a great weekend....

From the article:
The U.S. Attorney's office in Washington says they are considering possible charges against McKinney, and will decide whether to prosecute her as early as next week. Oh, yeah. The race card will be played BIG TIME to be sure no charges are filed against her for assaulting an officer.

...the altercation between she and a Capitol police officer... If this reporter, a professional writer, can't get the grammar right, it doesn't add to his credibility. Maybe he was a victim of the liberals' "whole language" method of teaching English.
...was started by the officer "inappropriately touching and stopping" her...
And there we have the sexual harassment card. If you can't win on the facts, stir up a lot of emotion, distort the sequence of events, and hope your audience doesn't notice you're lying.
I agree, we need to see the tape.

As an Atlantan, I'd like to see this woman get her just rewards for this arrogant stunt
Same here. Problem is here district loves her and her seat is forever safe.

Didn't take long for that card to be played. Her very first statement after the incident happened said she was stopped by "a White Capitol policeman."

She must not wear her "member" pin simply to use this type of situation to play politics and pretend to be important.
I wonder how many congressman do not wear their pins?
The house should pass a procedure rule making it mandatory to wear their pin as not t o confuse the "racist" capital police

That's true and it's also a little strange she came out today with the whole gang. I think she's scared and I think her lawyer knows she could go down on it.

I watched this press conference. After she spoke, and she was just listening to the attorney speak, you should have seen her face. Her eyes were glowing, and she had this thrilled smile on her face.
She looked like she had won lotto. She was SO happy, in this blissful, totally weird kind of way. If someone could post a picture....
