AP just reported that the cries for help on the 911 tapes of 9/11 were edited out. Did CAIR complain that this would just incite more terrible violence against Muslims? Did the city officials responsible simply not want to offend Muslims? Did they not want to risk causing anger by having us hear again the agonizing pleas for help from our victims as the Cult of Peace struck? I'm just wondering what the motivation was to censor the tapes.
Because you can't handle the whole truth they will spoonfeed you the parts that they think are OK for you to hear.
I suspect it was the PC fear that 208 different people would recognize the voice of a "loved one" and sue...
Do you think maybe the families of those in the Towers didn't want the world to hear their love ones crying for help.
Out of respect for the families.
This was done out of respect for the families.
I certainly wouldn't want to hear my husband or son or daughter crying for help moments before their death. Nor would I care to hear it repeated all over the TV.
Bless you.Me neither.
You're right. No one should have to live through hearing stuff like that. Besides, I'm sorry, I should have realized that by keeping in the heart-wrenching cries for help it just would have given even more pleasure to the Islamopigs that perpetrated this atrocity in the first place.
You can bet the Commie "DemocRATS" down at the DNC will be questioning "the timing" of the release of these tapes. Just when the 'RATS had lulled Americans back into a deep pacifist sleep. Fortunately for the 'RATS, this was Fridays news. Good luck Monday morning. These tapes will be long forgotten and Dingy Harrys Brokeback Mountain Boys will be back to whining about censure and impeachment again.
But if they did, it would earn them a fresh wave of revulsion.
Thanks. You nailed it. I do not want to hear those cries, nor do I want the loved ones to endure that agony ever again. Precisely. But, lest we forget ...
The islamofascists don't need a reason to do anything. We didn't attack them first, they attacked us first.
I assume these Liberals are referring to Mayor Giuliani.
I just listened to the video from ABC news who reported on this tonight. They explained that only families who gave permission for their family members side of the conversation would be made public.
Censorship? Indeed. As it should be in this case- no family member should have to have these moments played for national consumption.
OTOH- we have had too much sanitizing of that day- those sights and sounds of the planes, the towers falling and the rest of the horror have too often been wiped from the national memory.
Don't ever let anyone forget that.
Who gives a flying EFF what the Rats think? I sure as hell don't. If they want to exploit it as some "coincidental timing" issue, let 'em.
pretty sick isn't it
