More than two dozen students walked out of Skyline High School Friday morning to protest what they say is a ban that doesn't allow the American flag to be flown on school grounds.

Several students said that they were upset that Mexican flags can be waved around but that American flags couldn't. They said that school officials confiscated their American flags because it has become inflammatory because of recent immigration issues.

I see a big juicy lawsuit directed at the school and school district if he tried that. Almost makes me wish I was a student again so that I could challenge it.

We've been homeschooling in Colorado for 8+ years and the support networks are GREAT! (And no...your kids will not be social retards - they will just be associating with other kids who aren't into drugs, crime, slothfullness, etc.)

BTW...Colorado just held its annual state Spelling Bee last week. Seven homeschoolers got to participate (they made up a small fraction of the 250+ students at the Bee). Three of the seven finished in the top ten, while five of the seven finished in the top 34. Not bad for kids that studied within their individual family units and received no special spelling training. My homeschooled son won the state competition last year, and the trip to Washington, D.C. for the National Spelling Bee was an absolute blast!!

I believe some of these 'kids' are starting to understand that they don't have much of a future unless we put a stop to the invasion of illegals. They will be paying back-breaking taxes, and they will be working in the tomato fields.
