I thought so too. There was no use of taqiyya to obscure the point. The only thing missing was the "death to infidels and apostates" declaration.
When I first read it, I wondered if this fatwa was, in some way, a reaction to the Abdul Rahman affair in Afghanistan.
I had not see the picture until now. It is saved with my collection of pictures from the internet...in the "terrorism" folder.
Tagline upgrade...
Hey mulla moolah, I'm an infidel, not a heretic, get it straight, you Mohammedan.
Our FRiends the Sauds. Gimme a little smoochie! PUKE! Blackbird.
Because the West is stupid and liberal, but I repeat myself.
All religions feel this way, no? With the possible exception of Hinduism (something I heard once, so don't ask me to elaborate). Not all people feel this way, but all relgions have this as their stated belief. So, what's the big deal? Just that this crew will kill you to "prove" they are right.
You've got that right!
From Wikipedia:
Muslims believe that jinn are real beings. The jinn are said to be creatures with free will, made of smokeless fire by God [...], much in the same way humans were made of clay. In the Qur'an, the jinn are frequently mentioned and Sura 72 of the Qur'an named Al-Jinn is entirely about them. In fact, the prophet Muhammad was said to have been sent as a prophet to both "humanity and the jinn."
The jinn have communities much like human societies, they eat, marry, die etc. They are invisible to humans, but they can see humans. Sometimes they accidentally or deliberately come into view or into contact with humans.
Jinn are beings much like humans, possessing the ability to be good and bad. They have the power to transform into other animals and humans, and they are known to prefer the form of a snake. ...
Evil beings from among the jinn are roughly equivalent to the demons of Christian lore. ...
Wait for the EU to fall to Islam then you will see a slaughter in every nation that is islamic that will make the purges of Stalin and Mao seem like child's play.
And just what in History could possibly lead you to such a question. Can you name one period in History where they had the power to destroy the Infidels, that they didn't?
Oh, I don't know. We seem to be asleep at the wheel here with the President believing they are a religion of peace, all the while they are planning massive WMD attacks, and we will not have the will to retaliate with force enough to destroy them, and you know it.
Heck we can't even keep 12,20,30 million people out of out country that we have no clue who they are.
Remember when a couple of loonie toones paralyized the East coast for several days. What do you think would happen if a few thousand of these loonies pop up....Hmmmnnn
Was this Saudi fatwa just released?
That was my impression...right or wrong! I sift the news every day and today is this first day this has appeared.
The law of Islam (shari'a) is the final and definitive religious law. It applies to all men and jinns and abrogates all that came before it.
Jinns, they apply their "law" to jinns?
Jinn
Arabic: jinn
Invisible beings, that constitute a world almost parallel to the human, according to Islam. The jinns are living with humans, and are a central part of the Muslim world view. The belief in jinns is orthodox, as they are mentioned several times in the Koran.
Jinns are created out of smokeless flame, while man and angels are from clay and light. Jinns are a part of the realm of God and Muhammad passed on the message of Islam even to them. Which nature the jinns are of, and whether Satan comes from them, are theoretical problems with Muslim theologians.
We find the concept of jinns also in pre-Islamic Arabia, where they constituted the nymphs and satyrs of the desert. In the time of Muhammad they were revered as a sort of gods.
The existence of jinns are fully accepted in Islam, and relations between man and jinns have been dealt with in Sharia, covering matters like marriage and inheritance.
There is no God named Allah and Mohammed was a false prophet! Allahu fubar!
All religions other than Christianity are heretical.
There is going to be a "rude" awakening at the Last Judgment!
Christian lore... thats a funny phrase. never heard anyone say that.... other than some crusty old babbling philosphy professor from city college...
I can't even say that outloud without laughing. As if Christianity is a made up tale. Kind of silly to compare the two that way.
Just thought that was interesting.
