"Tearing him a new one" is a descriptive phrase we sometimes use here in the South, that seems to apply here.

I can't believe it, but I LOVE it!

(The Shah doesn't look so bad now, eh? But nooo, Jimmah said the Ayatollah was a 'godly' man.)

Dean: The opening premise of the senator's assumption that Nixon ordered a break-in based on anything is dead wrong.
Graham: Once he knew about it...
Dean: He had a different agenda for covering it up.

Why aren't any of our guys, instead of talking about Watergate, talking about:
1: Eschelon, which does spy on Americans and was established under Clinton.
2. That the FISA court of appeals doesn't seem to think the president has broken the law.

Apparently Graham has done some studying up on this program since the last time he spoke publicly about it.

"But when the president decides that immediate action is required sometimes, the thought of censure is that Congress doesn't have in mind national security but the next election." A money quote. God bless you, Peach, for what you do here at FR.

I think they've found someone in Fein that likes to hear himself talk more than Biden does.
To: jennyjenny
But Biden is always repeating himself repeating something someone else said.

Judge Judy goes on a rant when she catches someone telling a lie...Leahy goes on a rant when he catches someone telling the truth.
To: TomGuy; All
Can anyone advise of where this hearing process leads? When the hearing is over what happens next....do they decided to vote on whether or not to censure?
TIA

You're welcome, Christian. My husband just needed me for something and I haven't been listening for about 10 minutes.

I don't know why Sessions and Cornyn only gave opening statements...but haven't been there to ask questions...
But, my guess is, they are typical Republican class...they KNOW how stupid this is making Feingold look...and they aren't going to "pile on"..
BUT, if that is true...it will not be appreciated by the other side...they will just exploit it some way.
