FBI Director Robert Mueller said this week that his agency busted a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah that had operatives cross the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S.
"This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States, Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee during a Tuesday hearing on the FBI's budget.
In a stunning revelation, Mueller admitted that Hezbollah had succeeded in smuggling some of its operatives across the border, telling the House committee:
"That was an organization that we dismantled and identified those persons who had been smuggled in. And they have been addressed as well.
Hezbollah was responsible for the single most deadly terrorist attack against the U.S. before 9/11 - the Oct. 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 243 U.S. troops.
In November, an al-Qaida operative who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list was captured near the Mexican border, housed in a Texas jail and turned over to federal agents, according to Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas.
"A confirmed al-Qaida terrorist, an Iraqi national, was held in the Brewster County jail," Rep. Culberson told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity. "He was captured in Mexico. This was within the last six weeks. He was turned over to the FBI."

But allow me to give you another analogy. Visualize a dam (a wall in your case), where the illegals are the water. If you dry up the number of those who are collecting against that dam, the dam can function much more effectively. (Any structure will fail if enough pressure is exerted against it.) That's a great analogy, and one that I use all the time. As a matter of fact, it is frequently my tagline. But, to be honest, my use of the analogy looks at another aspect of the dam.
Think of the little Dutch boy. He couldn't keep out the water, the dikes broke and the North Sea rushed in. It's impossible to keep the North Sea out when you won't even attempt to dam it off. To wit:
Build the dike, drain the swamp.

4+ years after 9/11 and our borders are still wide open. This is on President Bush's shoulders.

"Yes, nice job Bush! Well, I guess Washington is waiting for about 100,000 people to get killed by a dirty bomb so they will have a PC excuse to close the borders....have we been totally failed on this issue, or what??"
Won't work. All it will do is spur legislation to 'chip' citizens, while still allowing illegal aliens to bank, work, and enjoy the benefits of citizenship with impunity.
Meanwhile, a few more cities go 'boom', but as long as the good life isn't disturbed for the politicos, all you'll get is hot air.

I think they have a different agenda for us !!!
Tehran, Iran, Mar. 29 Radical Islamists in Irans western province of Lorestan were invited during a ceremony on Wednesday to enlist in garrisons to carry out suicide attacks against the United States.
The Peoples Headquarters in Continuation of the Path of the Martyrs in Lorestan, a newly-founded government-backed group, began enlisting martyrdom-seeking volunteers to confront possible threats by America and the West against Iran.
The government-run news agency Mehr reported that the organisation comprised of religious delegations and martyrdom-seeking garrisons.
The radical group said that it was prepared to carry out its real duties on the orders of Irans Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Another state-organised group, which avowedly trains suicide bombers against Western infidels and Zionists, recently announced that it had enlisted 53,900 people to carry out martyrdom-seeking operations.
The Headquarters to Commemorate Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement, an organisation set up by Irans Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in 2004, offers volunteers three choices: To carry out suicide attacks against the infidels occupying Iraq, against Israel, or against controversial British author Salman Rushdie.

What is wrong with the Republicans? Are they willing to screw their base to pander to the illegal and business lobby?
I think these "demonstrations" in favor of illegals woke up a lot of people, even libs and those in a fog.
I wrote to Arlen Sphincter and got a form letter just about promising amnesty. Obviously most conservatives work and cannot just take off at any time to rally.
Howzabout Freepers organizing weekend rallies all over the country before the vote? Coordinate with the Minutemen and affiliated groups with maximum coverage. Seems this is what gets results.

But we have nothing to worry about by leaving the southern border open to whoever the hell wants to walk across it.
Nope, no problem there, not at all, no sireebob.
Anyone who doesn't want the southern border closed is either a complete moron or actively aiding terrorists.
