If she's saying the same things when she comes back to the US, then I'll be skeptical too. But I just feel like while she's in Iraq, she probably wouldn't want to say anything too derogatory to other Iraqis.

Hi RP...great to see you here. I'm not blasting her; at least yet...I'm not putting her in the category of the peace activists, at least yet. And I didn't know that she was in the office of a Sunni party, so thanks for that info. But it's still a weird story.

A journalism school pal of mine works for the CSM. I've got an e-mail off to her about what the story is with JC, which ought to be interesting: my pal's grad thesis was on Kate Webb, the UPI Phnom Penh bureau chief who was held as a prisoner by the Pathet Lao during the Vietnam War. And Katie Webb came out of it okay, when several others in the same position did not.
