Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony") and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Alan Tonelson and William Hawkins have impeccable conservative credentials, and are well qualified to discuss immigration and globalization as they relate to our strategic economic and national security policies. I'm sure either one would be an excellent guest on Tony's show.
It was discourteous and insulting to someone who has gone out of his way to hear our opinions.
If you want to talk to Tony, call in. Freepers (even those who are anti-Bush) are given priority. Denigrating him is just bad manners.
Your post came in on the tail end of this disruption. That is why I called you on it.
Well I don't see where it makes any difference where my reply occurred on this thread.
It was a polite and constructive response, and you were off-target for "calling me on it".
But I can understand how emotions can lead to such knee-jerk reactions... no problem. Nevertheless, you should be more careful on threads where a celebrity Freeper is participating.
Which "celebrity Freeper"...Tony Snow, or you? LOL!
;^)
See you tomorrow...I am going to bed.
"If you can prove to me that you were interested in this thread by posting to it prior to today, I will gladly apologize."
Just what kind of silliness is this????? I post every so often, as I use FR to mostly read/stay on top of the news... are you saying that I (Willie Green/others) must show intent before one even posts to a thread??? If so, get a life.. because that debate could be used against every poster on this board.. even you...
Good post.
Prolly get yr weiner wacked for doing it...but good post.
CTM.
"Hey wardaddy, looks like the meltdown that you were praying for me last night, happened to your best bud, travis.
Be careful with your wishes WD, they may come true."
That's really low. But when you have no argument, I guess it's all you can do.
We've got your number - oh, and it's not "No. 1"
Call in?
Why?
You've proven yourself incapable of any better response than calling your critics "bigots" - why would anyone want to subject himself to that on the air?
I've got a better idea:
If you can come up with a rational argument why we should reward millions of law-breakers with legal status, thus encouraging millions more to flood across our so-called "borders", well, just post them here.
Or on DU - you'd be right at home there.
That explains something I had wondered about. Thanks.
Ask wardaddy, he was the one hoping and praying for my "meltdown", 2 nights ago.
Well he is wrong. You melted down when you wrote "Tancredo getting money into his and Bay Buchanan's PAC" for the 50th time.
Uh that ain't a meltdown, that's the truth.
One thing you don't seem to get, is that clinging to stupid, or "stuck on stupid", as we call it today, is certainly not a commendable trait.
Frankly speaking, if I may, conservatives on the far right have created a hyperbolic echo chamber, within which they rally around every conceivable worry or conspiracy, just as the left has done and use every possible anecdotal story in the media to justify what is truly a stupid position or statement. I see it here every day.
I became totally fed up with the nonsense after Schiavo, and became convinced after the Miers blow up that the Republican party needs to shed some dead weight..........again......(history repeats).
Take your pompous attitudes, your hyperbolic messages and your votes to some party that will give you sustenance.
You will not find it in the RNC, because we will be taking it back at a great and totally un-neccessary cost. Unfortunately the closeness of the electorate split during the past two or three cycles and the equal and opposite nonsense on the liberal side created a right wing nut case section that has never been as large and vocal in the past. Buchannon and a much smaller group was ejected in 2000, but we managed to put everything back together for the most part, by the time the voting started. This time the rabble is bigger and this time we lose, but what comes out of the carnage will be better and more unified.
I did not do this! You and your ilk did it, and the responsibility will lie squarely on your shoulders, just as it did when Independents split off and caused the first Clinton win.
Call me anything you like, but don't screw with my party. I was here long before being a Republican was even socially acceptable, and I will be here long after the so called and self described "true conservatives" abandon the party once again by refusing to understand the real nature of what politics really is. (the art of compromise)
As a result, GWB will be the last conservative president for a long time, perhaps decades. But, I'm probably wasting my time, trying to convince those who are blinded by their self imposed stupidity, of the reality that will dictate the next two election cycles, and the bad taste in the mouths of the public toward the Republicans who are not responsible for the string of right wing mistakes.
I will sit back and watch, as I always do. Should be a hoot!
