"Don't try to make sense to these people..."
Can we assume your attitude is the status quo Republicans now have towards Americans who still have regard for the rule of law?

Bush needs to get his head of out of his butt and remember he doesn't work for Fox he works for us. No. He works for global multi-national corporations. They write the checks and that's who he answers to.

The majority of Americans want the Mexican border CLOSED.
What survey shows that? Can you link to it?

Huh?
That don't make sense, brother. You've been on this thread too long, as have I.

Links to polls? Every poll I've seen from the invaded border states are overwhelmingly for closing the Mexican border until this invasion is stopped. I see you don't live in a border state, but I do, I live in California, and illegal immigration to our state is costing California taxpayers 10 billion dollars every year. For us, that alone is more than enough reason to close the border, not to mention the mess in the schools, the hospitals, the social services, etc. etc.
We rarely see any more legal immigration from other countries. Los Angeles has become primarily a city occupied by Mexican illegal aliens and their relatives. We're being colonized.

I guess the answer to my question is "No," then...you can't provide links to polls or surveys.
To: SUSSA
What I meant is that because of their recent record on fiscal restraint, border security, etc., they DO have reason to worry about people getting to the polls.

I guess the answer to my question is "No," then...you can't provide links to polls or surveys. Here's one:

Here's another:

And here's one from last week's LA Times:
Despite the significant opposition to the crackdown on illegal immigrants shown by the turnout in recent rallies, a recent Zogby poll found 62% of Americans surveyed wanted more restrictive immigration policies...

I only had a couple of minutes, but managed to come up with those examples. I'm sure that after last week's massive display of patriotism and love for the US shown by the pro-illegals, however, the polls will show much more interest in helping the malcontents stay.

The Fox News poll also includes the following notable result:
Even so, a 62 percent majority, including almost equal majorities of Democrats (65 percent) and Republicans (62 percent), favors allowing illegal immigrants who have jobs in the United States to apply for legal, temporary worker status.
