Hi all .. Maldon in Essex on river Blackwater(UK) quaint English fishing town pop 30,000 or so mentioned in Doomsday book... famous battle in 10th century with Vikings also in HG Wells 'War of the Worlds '( the tripods marching across the Essex marshes ). They !! want to build a Mosque overlooking the town and call the local believers(all 7 of them) to prayer 5 times a day from the minorets. Not bloody likely.Don't believe what you hear. There may be 1.6 million Muslims here but there are 53 million of us.
