This is B.S. plain and simple..Mexico has no middle class...the rich in Mexico can buy anything they want from anywhere...and the Mexican "middle class" that was predicted to boom with the prior trading agreements is not developing. Mexico is a corrupt oligarchy that uses America as a pressure relief valve ( a dumping grounds for their peon class) enabling the ruling class to maintain their death grip on power and wealth. In the meantime the illegal population in the United States from Mexico continues to grow and grow... "Balkanazation American style" is no longer around the corner , it's on the horizon.

Within a few years it will never be possible for a Republican to win the Presidency. There will be too many people in the country reliant on the government.

"Mexico has no middle class"

And soon the U.S. will have no middle class either.

That is the whole point of letting the illegals come into this country.

To destroy the middle class.

But many won't get it until it is too late (or, its already too late).

Start learning, no not Mexican, not Arabic, but French! That's the situation there. Change c'est impossible. Theodore Darlymple has an essay on the situation there at City-Journal.com (I think he lives in France.)

Great comment! Too bad the RNC, White House, Senate & House Repubs just can't see that scenario coming. Maybe if the 2006 elections cause the loss of the Repub Senate or House, they might wake up to the fact that once again, the Repub national leaders have betrayed the majority conservative base that put them in power... and now they are once again the minority party.

Exactly why the Democrats want the country to be flooded with low income wage earners. They will want government benefits.

Doesn't matter. Because Republicans don't matter. We've seen what they do, once given the chance. Same old crap.

The GOP is useless and needs to go the way of the Whigs; we sure as hell don't need two Big Stupid Government parties.
