Corporates Prevent Dallas Talkshow Hosts from Attending CFIR Rally in Dallas
CFIR Dallas

Posted on 03/30/2006 11:33:20 AM PST by blogbat

To update on the CFIR rally on April 8, it seems that some corporate bigwigs are throwing their weight around trying stifle any attempt at a significant rally to close our borders, at least when it comes to allowing their on-air assets to take part. I just got this e-mail from CFIR Dallas:

Friends,

Mike Gallagher, KSKY, 660am, 6-9a.m., has had to put aside his plan to hold a protest on April 8th. The reason: The companies who own the other stations would not allow their talk show hosts to take part. Gallagher feels that he would need help from the other folks to really have a demonstration that would be effective.

Kudos' to KSKY who is supportive of Mike Gallagher. We have always appreciated KSKY, they have carried our radio spots and have been most generous to give us extra air time at no cost.

I did get an email that Greg Knapp on KLIF 570 AM plans to broadcast from Dallas City Hall on April 9th. Have not seen a time yet.

We must turn out in great number at our demonstration on April 8th, at Walnut Hill and Central Expressway, West side of Central, 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. We have website emails from people who are not members of CFIR who are joining us. Can we, who are members, not show our support for this demonstration? To those of you who are friends of CFIR, will you not turn out also?

Jean

This is turning into an M&M war. Muslims AND the Mexicans. Sadly, the illegal Mexicans seem to be on the side of the Muslims.

No need to worry about protesting in Dallas, I've been to this location before with CFIR and we get FAR more thumbs up than idiocy. But the idiots do provide levity. We also have significant police protection. Come on out! :-)

Protest all you want, the politicians will not listen to us, the illegals will just laugh at us, and the media will portray us as the new rise of the KKK for wanting to protect our boarders.

It's over folks ... we're just gonna have to get use to it. Learn Spanish or Portuguese or what ever 3rd world hell-hole language so you can order a cup of coffee in the morning.

Soon we'll be the new 3rd world hell-hole and citizenship will be a detriment.

The lack of a unified message, coupled with the total support of the Klan, white supremacists, and two additional groups recognized as advocating the violent overthrow of the United States government are the reasons that these "counter protests" are being avoided. But hey, LF, you are free to associate with anybody. Just make sure that everyone has health insurance, so that they are not a financial burden on Parkland.

at Walnut Hill and Central Expressway, West side of Central

Strikes me as a strange place to hold a rally. All I can think of in that area are some strip centers and apartments. I can't think of any parks or public areas there, or government agencies. It isn't even convenient to Dart Rail.

Is there some reason for that location?
