Yank their chain!( EVERYBODY - and I mean EVERYBODY–take Friday off! (Americans Protest Illegals)
World Net Daily ^ | 3-30-06 | (Letter to Ed)

Posted on 03/30/2006 8:38:34 AM PST by Jo Nuvark

Yank their chain! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Illegal aliens marching in the street demanding rights? Politicians swooning at their feet?

How about they swoon at our feet? Worry about backlash from we the citizens! How about we give them a tug on the chain so they know who's in charge? How?

Everybody – and I mean everybody – take Friday off.

Not only does it tell the elites & their lackeys in D.C. that it's our country – not theirs – but it speaks the only language they understand: money. Hit them where it hurts.

If even a quarter of the people took this Friday off, that'd snap their heads around real quick.

EVERYBODY TAKE THIS FRIDAY OFF. It's a small, small price to pay to save the United States.

I'm in. Are you?

(Name withheld)

_______________________________________________________

(VANITY) This angry letter to World Net Daily urges real Americans NOT to show up to work on Friday. This also happens to be Caesar Chavez day and a lot of rallys and walkouts are being organized. My question is... will this work? Half the work force in the Southwest will be at the protests (rallys) anyway. Wouldn't a better protest be to withhold Government paychecks?

It is not going to work. If we are going to protest, the first thing we need is money; to buy add copy, to fund marches, and to pay for transportation and facilities. If you really want to shake up the politicians then start putting that war chest together and threathen to use it against any senator or congressman who develops a softspot for illegals.

We can also organized large targeted demonstrations, and populate them with our own college kids. It is they who have the most to lose; they who have the stamina to go; and, they who can best move without damaging the whole economy.

I strongly recommend that everyone should contact their US Senators and US Representatives as well as the President, VP and John McCain. The key thing missing in the immigration reform is the 700 miles of additional fence to secure the border. Without the fence there is no way to slow down the flood of illegals. An easy way to find your congressmen, prez etc is to go into these sites - senate.gov, house.gov and whitehouse.gov Header on webform or e-mail should reference fence etc. A avalanche of e-mail will give our congressmen some backbone!

Here's the deal: the Mexican government gets veto power over U.S. immigration policy, and the US loses sovereignty.

How do we know?

In the Mexican Congress, it was recently announced that a document would be drafted, to show support for the protest marches in our country.

The Mexican government published advertisements in leading American newspapers calling for the legalization of illegal immigrants (those in the United States, not in Mexico) and "a far-reaching guest workers scheme." Not only that, said the ads, but "in order for a US guest workers program to be viable, Mexico should participate in its design, management, supervision and evaluation."

In other words, the Mexican government wants veto power over U.S. immigration policy.

And they might just get it. Outrageously, many in our own government are only too happy to oblige them.

Ruben Aguilar, spokesman for President Vicente Fox, made this statement to support the marches: "The recent protests carried out in different places in the United States are indicative of the imminent necessity of a migratory accord that corresponds to the interests of both countries, and that especially to the defense of the rights of migrants. The government of the (Mexican) Republic ratifies its commitment to the Mexicans who live in the United States and its intention to work in the defense of their rights ..."

None of this is surprising. The protestors--carrying Mexican flags---and the Mexican government share the same goals: legalize Mexican illegal aliens and keep the borders open.

The Mexican government wins b/c they see it as a way to relieve economic pressure on their government to reform the economy.

Mexico's leaders also work to retain the loyalty of the immigrant mobs so that, even if they become American citizens, they retain their loyalty to Mexico.

And the plan is working thanks to the dupes in the US Congress.

Perhaps it would be better to protest by refusing to patronize businesses known to hire illegals?

Great thought, but then you would have to stop buying fruits and vegetables (who picks them?), meat (who works in the packing plants?),no hotel stays (who cleans the rooms?), no buying a house (who built it?)

The list would go on, but you get the idea. There would be little to boycott in the retail world.

Mine direct deposits, doesn't matter if I miss the day.

Plus, what will really happen?
So many functions are automated will this really effect any noticable impact?

[...It is not going to work...]

I agree. That was the point of this post.
We need a better plan and I think you have hit on it.

[...Organize large targeted demonstrations with college kids...]

How sad we have to send the "kids" to do the job we should have done.
Many of those "kids" are in Iraq. God bless our troops. We may need
them home sooner than we think.
