Breaking - Jill Carrol released in Iraq - more to come
It's beginning to be like a bad TV action show.
It is unreal...the press releases, etc.
ping
Watch, she'll praise the terrorists.
I'm still glad she is released.
Ever since the lady from the Italian commie paper got that security guy killed in that "hostage" scam I've been suspicious of these things as actually being leftist extortion scams.
She will be spouting the same crap the peace activists that were released did. She will say they treated her well and they were kidnappers just in it for the money. They weren't the nice insurgents who are too busy fighting against the evil army of Bush to kidnap innocent people.
So, someone PAID for her?
Nice incentive for terrorists. They'll just want more and more and more $$$ for the next one.
Twin sister?
I do recognize this position and it is very hard at times. I just have to remind myself that at times I might not have enough facts to know what the truth is.
I believe it was the Italian company she worked for.
This was the incident where the car refused to slow down at a checkpoint and an Italian agent was shot.
Her father was just interviewed on FNC. He seems like a really nice guy. Sounds like a rebellious daughter.
We can only hope that her eyes have been opened to the truth after this.......however, I am not holding my breath.
Just like the other side we have to start depending more on our "feelings"
Wait, didn't she work for the Christian Science Monitor? I didn't think that was an Italian magazine. Was this some other group that paid for her release?
Looking into my crystal ball, I see a book deal in the near future. Also, she will fall in love with a nice Muslim man, convert (if she hasn't already done so), and have 3 or 4 children. Lastly, she will be a spokesperson for Islam for her local t.v. station.
That is all.
Before too long, watch for her to speak about how well she was treated and how much she admires them and their cause.
if that's the case, the MSM to keep their credibility must stop putting the word "journalist" in front of her name like they have been doing.
That is true I was reffering to the Italian journalist.
Thanks.
Any Evidence to back up that claim?
Okay, what did I miss?
I'm glad she was released and I'm glad for her family.
What has been reported that has made everyone so negative about her? Ya, I know she begged for her life and said less than flattering things while in captivity... That's hardly shocking... When in fear of getting your head cutoff slowly, especially when young, you'll do or say darn near anything to try to avoid it...
I'll reserve judgment until I hear her speak freely.
