Charges were dropped Wednesday against men accused of a Sacramento gang rape after the alleged victim recanted her allegations.
"It was clear that this person had made up, fabicated essentially everything that had supposedly happened," said defense attorney David Lynch, adding that the woman admitted to accepting money to take part in the creation of a pornographic video tape.
Within the past two days, photos suggesting the entire encounter was consensual were delivered by a defense attorney to police. The District Attorney's Office confronted the woman with the evidence Wednesday morning.
"We needed to dismiss this case for insufficient evidence," said Noah Phillips, deputy district attorney. "There would be no way a jury would come to the conclusion that the sexual events were anything other than consensual "
Last month, the woman told authorities she was gang raped by five men over the course of 12 hours at a Fourth Avenue apartment complex.

Interesting that the names and photos of the victims are revealed, but the criminals identity is still protected, because of her sex.

You just hit on why I also am not jumping up and down calling for the death of the Duke players because a stripper says that they gang raped her and called her racist names.
So where are the charges against the woman for making false claims?
It would be nice wouldn't it if they started charging women that pull this shit.
Yeah it would. However, I don't see it ever happening. They want the women to keep coming forward with charges, even if they are trumped up.
Now how did she think she would get away with these false charges? What was her motive, did she truly want revenge against a group of men, was she gang raped and then thereatened, or was she wanting gang rape and didn't get it?
This is all very confusing. I am going to bed to fantasize! ( sarc.)
Now they can charge the woman with statutory rape and all of the adults with child pornography.
It might be wrong, but it's hard for me to feel sorry for a bunch of guys that were making a porno tape of a gang bang. I think the woman is scum for pretending to be a victim and making it harder for true victims to be believed, but I'm not unhappy that the guys got a little taste of what the outcome would be if they decided to make their fantasies reality.
She probably signed on for it, thinking it would be fun to be the sexual object of attention of a bunch of guys and then it got rougher than she anticipated and not so much fun.
I actually feel sorry for a woman that agrees to sex with a single man and then gets upset that that person got too rough. But, if are agreeing to a gang bang, then I think you are an idiot not to realize why they call it gang BANG!
