Wander away now troll. We are the thread about the Rush Show, not your pulpit to preach you rabid dogma of complete political irrelevancy. You are the rudest poster I've seen yet.

This stupid Senate bill would never never never work. Why would anyone go thru all that when they can just stay as they are? This should be called the McCain/Kennedy Bureaucrat Employment Bill.

This guy is right about one thing -- you can't keep making it easier to be here illegally and harder to be here legally

We have huge problems in Congress. That's why we need to contact our critters and tell them we want Zell type legislators. Congress people that vote for country first and getting re-elected last.

I am so effing sick of immigration talk already.
Talk about the democrat 'national security' paper they put out today and rip it to shreds, talk about Iran and the Saddam docs and how the MSM is treating it.

if it takes a fence to enhance our security, protect our borders and keep out illegals then we should do it Unless, as the Vice President said on Tony's show this a.m., that aerial surveillance, satellite surveillance, motion detectors, IR sensors, etc. can do the job better than a big fence. I'd like to think we can do the job cheaper and better with our technology than with a fence.

This guy is right about one thing -- you can't keep making it easier to be here illegally and harder to be here legally We need to make it hard to be here illegally period. I still don't think amensty will pass but just the talk of one is bound to encourage another rush on the border.

Democrat National Security Plan. Focus Group Tested Slogans and empty meaningless rhetoric is NOT a plan.

Yeah I know, but thats what I'm saying. Thats why I hate when Rush has guest hosts... they all have their own little thing and Mark/Roger spend ALOT of time on this issue, where RUSH's stuff is so much fresher.
I know its 'current' so I exptected to hear it, but every show is doing basically every segment on it... getting ready to tune out.

Congress people that vote for country first and getting re-elected last. Agreed, they know how we feel and if they don't start putting the country first there will be a backlash.

I happen to agree that "Reagan WAS the best". And he did support amnesty. Now I don't think "amnesty" as in we forgive you is the answer. But like Mark and Rush keep telling us you CANNOT send 11-13 million people home. You need a path that verifies the desire of the immigrant to become an American (as my Thai wife did), and NOT break up families...But most of all, CLEAN UP BICE (formerly INS)!. Computerize them. Get them to work with state, local authorities ... I really wish you would not be insulting our fearless Thread Leader.

Certainly that is what happened in 1986. I was living in the San Diego area at the time and I remember all the reports of an increase in border jumping to get in and get amensty.

Ah "Clintonwasthebest" seems you still haven't change you screen name to match your true agenda. I see you DNC mouthpieces don't like having the truth told you. You actively work to elect Democrats with you 100% hate Republican Propaganda and then whine when we point out the consequence of your actions.
Interesting thing is to watch you then wander around the forum whining about how "rude" FReeper are for pointing out the truth. When you actively work to spread Hate Republicans propaganda, you actively are allying yourself with the DNC. Guess the truth really does hurt hmmm?

We all might be sick of hearing it, but this thing has reached critical mass and if we don't make our opinions known on this now, there will be no hope to stop the onslaught of illegals. It'll be all over.
To: Reaganwuzthebest
Agreed, they know how we feel and if they don't start putting the country first there will be a backlash. I'll believe that when McCain is tossed out by BORDER STATE voters.

BS Who did those jobs before the illegals got here? Who is doing those jobs in the rest of the countryWithout immigration, legal and illegal, the population of the US would be declining, as is the case in most developed countries. Economically, a growing population is a good thing. With a 4.8% unemployment rate, we are virtually at full employment. We need more workers in an expanding economy with an aging work force and declining birth rates among the native population.
However, the problem is we can't assimilate the numbers that are coming in nor are we controlling the kinds of people our economy needs. Every year we increase the quota of H1B visas to get the skilled workers we really need.
Each year 1.5 million immigrants, one million legal and 500,000 illegal, enter our country. That is the equivalent of adding a Philadelphia or Phoenix every year. Eventually, everyone will feel the impact of this invasion, no matter where they live in the US.
