What kid wouldn't want to get out of school and show off and be loud. They probably had no idea what they were doing....or if they did, where did they learn it. In that school?

I expect most of the kids were just glad to have a day off from studying. But woe unto the ones that DID know what they were doing. The organizers....who are they and where are they now? They need to be held responsible!

That could be true - - I think a lot of people have no idea about the proper handling of a flag. That said, I think some know perfectly well what they're doing.

I got perturbed yesterday about the fact that one of our local rags, The Seattle Times, chose to fly their flag at half staff in honor of the 6 people that were murdered here over the weekend and the Killer! IIRC, only the Pres or the Gov of the state can order the flag to be flown in this manner. We're almost positive that the Prez didn't do it, and, so far, can find no indication that Gov-select Fraudoire did - - but, I'll keep looking.
