So just where did those thousands and thousands of protesters that showed up around the country to protest an immigration bill in Congress come from? Were they angry immigrants sitting in their government housing watching C-SPAN...only to become upset at a bill that was just out of committee? Not hardly.

The truth is starting to come out about just where these folks came from. They were protesting in the street because.....because they were told to. It turns out the Spanish media was stoking the fire. In fact, they went a step further...even telling them when and where to protest...what to wear and how to do it. It was an all-out propaganda war.

And just where will you hear this reported? Not in the mainstream media. They will report that the protests took place, then say nothing about how they got there. As it turns out, these were essentially rent-a-mobs..carefully coordinated over a period of weeks to show up and do their thing.

If the media really wanted to do their job, they would have sent a reporter into the crowd with a microphone to ask the protesters just which bill they were protesting and what the language of the legislation was. Good luck on that one.

The first thing we need to do with the immigrations fiasco is to obey the laws that are now on the books. Then we needs, jails or holding pens capable of holding an unlimited number of "law violators" then we need to recognize who are economic refugees and who are political refugees. But first is to obey current law no on the books.(Oh yeah and we need an Israeli style fence across the entire Mexicon border as well)

I wasn't either. As we've discussed, there had to be someone/some orgs behind organizing this - - per my post yesterday, ANSWR was also involved (as was, I believe LaRaza, Mecha, Amer Farmer Workers Union, and a few others).

Tony said being an American citizen is special and a privilege and I agree. I don't think some of these folks want to be citizens. Here's a picture from the thread posted (via Michelle Malkin I believe)

Many of the Cubans are true political refugees, truly with guns pointed at their heads if they do no tow the commie line in Cuba. They live in a completely different world than the Mexicons.

Hey Tony, where did you see the test?

I think it would be a good idea (epically if the content is right) that ALL US students also have to take it before graduating high school.

Not that it would have anything to do with citizenship in those cases, but should be REQURIED to pass, to graduate.

If thats too much for the teacher's unions maybe we can just tack it on to the end of SAT tests, and just use the result data to improve how 'American history' is taught.

Good Morning All...

Once again... good apples or bad.. coming into the USA Illegally is a major problem on many levels... We have no problem with Legal immigrants... We don't expect all illegals to be deported.. We do expect illegals _caught_ while breaking the law to be deported.

I don't know about the wall, but obeying the law should be a given. When you have people starting out life in a country as an ILLEGAL/CRIMINAL, there's just something wrong with the system.

I don't blame the people trying to come here; I blame our government for sitting on their hands till it became 12 million illegals!

This caller has the same philosophy as the friends I have. They want to be Americans!!!
