Plug the following into Google:

If he's not an atheist, he certainly has a healthy interest in the subject--especially when you notice that his position is never supportive of the Christian/religious side.

Then again, we could just ask him...

Hey Orionblamblam: Do you believe in God?

"Hey Orionblamblam: Do you believe in God?"

That's the $56,000 question. I would guess in my interaction with him, the answer would be, "no".

A lot of Creationists post often in Evolutiont hreads. Does that mean that these Creationists are Evolutionists?

I also post a lot about Muslims terrorism. Does that mean I'm a Muslim terrorist?

>his position is never supportive of the Christian/religious side.

Never? Huh. I've been quite supportive of Christians who see evolution as the mechanism that God used to create the diversity of life on Earth. But that doesn't fit in with your preconcieved notions, does it.

Your God? Nope. Do I believe your God doesn't exist? Nope.

Hey Antoninus: Does that make me a "staunch atheist?"

Hey Orionblamblam: Do you believe in God?

Wrong question. He could doubt the existence of a deity while still allowing for the possibility. Or he could be pretty sure that the Judeo-Christian God doesn't exist but leave it open for a different deity to exist. Or he could not believe in the Judeo-Christian God but believe in a different God or gods.

In order to be an atheist he would have to actively disbelieve in the existence of any sort of deity.

Interesting is it not? There are so many questions as this one that they seemingly avoid like the plague to answer to directly .

However that google search certainly lays 'the mountain of evidence' at our feet /term they like to use/

Indeed we see hard real time documented statements that this is so, but yet once again we must arrive there somewhat by subtraction, for in their efforts to be clever and evasive, much of their positions are by inference.
