Lauer: Why was it so important to put that in there?
Schiavo: It was from me to her it had nothing to do with anybody else. It was very important for me.
Lauer: Do you ever come here Michael and wonder how she feels about this promise, so many years afterwards? Do you think it was it as important to her as it was to you?
Schiavo: Definitely, definitely. She's up there praising me right now and saying thank you.
Sick.
I am so sure Terri was just so happy to be deprived of food and water and die in such a slow and painful process of dehydration.
Notice the arrogant graphic. "My Turn To Talk." Terri wasn't even able to do that much. What a sicko this guy is.
Is there anything on earth that I could possibly care less about than what this a-hole has to say? I guess that explains why Matt Lauer had to talk to him.
It sets Michael Schiavo free.
Oh man, no lie escapes the lips
but with two tells true to rebuke it!
Too bad. The one's he wants to reach won't buy it.
he HAS no side...except the money.
Not to sound cold hearted, but I believe that the autopsy proved he was right that she was in a vegatative state with no hope of recovery. I know I would not want to be in her condition and would trust my wife to not let me sufer.
Kudos to Mr. Insipid, Matt Wauer, for his insightful and hard-hitting questions regarding such a controversial and polarizing story.
[/sarc]
Yeah Mike, you said you'd kill her and you did.
It is obvious that Sean Hannity has lost all objectivity and has a hardon against Michael. He avoids the many negative stories that have come out against Teri's parents like selling the donors list to some Christian fund raising group. He also directed his friend Mark Furman to try to dig up some dirt on Michael to get him convicted of a crime.
"Monster" PING
He is certainly not human
He looks sick. Being a sick bastard is one thing but to kill your wife is another
What does he mean 'his turn to talk'? Terri never had a chance to talk and now she never will. He's a bastard!
I guess if I was brain dead it would not bother me how my life was ended. In a perfect world they would give me a shot like the vet would give my dog or cat when they can no longer continue. I guess that should be another topic in the future.
But but but but but but he had so much "compassion" for Terri, didn't he?
Any questions...?
The Catechism of the Catholic Church
Euthanasia
2276 Those whose lives are diminished or weakened deserve special respect. Sick or handicapped persons should be helped to lead lives as normal as possible.
2277 Whatever its motives and means, direct euthanasia consists in putting an end to the lives of handicapped, sick, or dying persons. It is morally unacceptable.
Thus an act or omission which, of itself or by intention, causes death in order to eliminate suffering constitutes a murder gravely contrary to the dignity of the human person and to the respect due to the living God, his Creator. The error of judgment into which one can fall in good faith does not change the nature of this murderous act, which must always be forbidden and excluded.
2278 Discontinuing medical procedures that are burdensome, dangerous, extraordinary, or disproportionate to the expected outcome can be legitimate; it is the refusal of "over-zealous" treatment. Here one does not will to cause death; one's inability to impede it is merely accepted. The decisions should be made by the patient if he is competent and able or, if not, by those legally entitled to act for the patient, whose reasonable will and legitimate interests must always be respected.
2279 Even if death is thought imminent, the ordinary care owed to a sick person cannot be legitimately interrupted. The use of painkillers to alleviate the sufferings of the dying, even at the risk of shortening their days, can be morally in conformity with human dignity if death is not willed as either an end or a means, but only foreseen and tolerated as inevitable Palliative care is a special form of disinterested charity. As such it should be encouraged.
The only answers to any questions that I want to hear from that man would address the inconsistencies he gave in four different depositions as to why she ended up in a vegetative state to begin with. He contributed to her demise and ultimate death, only I want to know when his contribution began.
