Here's the point. Everyone is bitching and moaning, oh, whoa is me, immigration is the downfall of our Republic. Everyone, sign up a new account at a web site, Free Republic, and bitch even harder to the people who've already signed up an account and have bitched and moaned even harder than me. That'll do the trick. If we all bitch really hard enough, maybe something might get done. Or instead, get off your lazy butts, get out from behind your keyboards, and do something other than whine about how bad it is. Funny, the Mexicans got 500,000 together to do something. FR gets what, 30 at a good Freep? So, continue to bitch at your keyboard, or do something. Keyboard warriors are the worst pathetic lot. And before you say, what have you done, I've done plenty.
I am not in a position to anti-protest. But I give to the local Republican Party (hard to find in SoCal), I do LTTEs (they never get printed -- but I had one printed ab9ut immigration when I was 16 by the Herald), I support Ken and John and Handel.
Your F'ing high horse seems a little tentative. If you don't understand my references, then you are full of crap at the very least, since you are clearly NOT on the frontlines.
BTTT!
Yours is a GREAT post and on that worthy note, Good night, everybody!
I was thinking the same thing today when I saw thousands demonstrating in my mid-size Michigan city that has a population that is 6% Hispanic. I don't think I have ever seen that large a demonstration here. What comes next from a group so well organized?
The anti-war protests in 2003 and 2004 were huge as well and Bush still got re-elected. Freepers are busy working and raising families.
I hope you all got one of these?
