I know that even among his most ardent supporters, his borders policy leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not entirley enamoured with his stance and action on them myself, and that includes the wide open Canadian border. (Oh wait, there is a Canadian border?)
But what I will not tolerate under any circumstnce is slanders and lies. What you said, if done out of knowledge, is an outright lie.
"America is a nation of immigrants, and we're also a nation of laws. All of you are here because you followed the rules and you waited your turn in the citizenship line. Yet some violate our immigration laws and enter our country ILLEGALLY, and that undermines the system for all of us."
"No one is served by an immigration system that allows large numbers of people to sneak across the border ILLEGALLY."
"ILLEGAL immigration puts a strain on law enforcement and public resources, especially in our border communities. Our nation is also fighting a war on terror, and terrorists crossing the border could create destruction on a massive scale. The responsibility of government is clear: We must enforce the border."
"Through the Arizona Border Control Initiative we apprehended more than 600,000 ILLEGAL immigrants in Arizona last year."
All emphasis mine. These excerpts were from a speech today by the President. He used the words "ILLEGAL" and its variant numerous times to describe the daily ILLEGAL entry of the U.S. Regardless of what one thinks of his policies, he stated clearly that these are illegal acts and immigrants. He was not "scared to even call these people illegals".
I will not tolerate bull$hit from the left or the right. My entire formative years I have been lied to by those who pretend to have my best interests at heart while seeking to defame and subjugate a great nation. I would expect A LOT more from those who are purportedly fighting for America.
Ain't buying that Kool-Aid.
Did I hear you correctly? Was that President Hillary you said?
According to Business Week, the average CEO made 42 times the average blue-collar worker's pay when Reagan was president, 531 times now. What happened to "trickle down" economics?
"Who?"
Vote for conservatives in Republican primaries. If they lose, then vote third party just to show the republican party your aren't the republican version of black democratic base. If you vote republican no matter what, why do you think republicans will listen to you? If republicans run a moderate in 2008, don't vote for him, sure 4-8 years of a democrat is bad, but if we don't, we will forever have two parties, democrats, and democrats light.
See my #40.
Yeah, right. 8 years of left wackos appointing judges who do their legislating for them for life.
After 9/11/2001 Browne blamed it on America. He was a POS.
When we ALL quit voting for them. End of story.Amen
Personally there is not one incumbent in my district that I will reelect. Vote them all out!
You probably don't want to be any kind of eater at any public trough...government or otherwise...when she folds...
God help and protect our disabled combat veterans...in the coming new world odor that was once a fine nation...
Unless our gutless leaders step up...I dont see any of them actually finding any courage other than the bold feathering their own nests and eviscerating the economy as greedily as they can before they too are forced to bail.
Term Limits....we are in dire need of Term Limits...
imo
I don't think even term limits will help now.
Ah, using the old percentages game to make a point. Reagan built up the military and also managed to cut taxes while digging us out of the hole that Nixon and Carter had gotten us into.
As a POTUS with a democrat controlled Congress, he did okay in my book.
Corporations do not. However, when they lobby for protection, tax relief and less regulation they get it by dangling that jobs issue.
Stock as compensation, that's how.
Heh.
If a math degree is required, then woe is me.
Well...
...I guess it depends on whether or not "those Chinese and Indian people" are truely immigrants to the USA.
