A good conservative republican fighting on good issues would have beat gore and kerry by more than -1% and 4%. Bush couldn't beat gore and kerry on the major issues because I guess bush agreed with them.

We have John McCain, Rudy Guiliani, Mitt Romney and George Allen. I guarantee you none of those RINO's will do the job. Allen? Maybe, but when was the last time a Senator got elected? Frankly, I don't know if I want a former Senator as CIC.
