DALLAS Students from four Dallas high schools have walked out of morning classes today and marched to an Oak Cliff park to rally for rights for illegal immigrants.
There's no word on how many students are participating in the demonstration. But K-X-A-S T-V in Fort Worth reports police are blocking off traffic in and around Kiest Park in the Oak Cliff section of southwest Dallas.
The station reports students from Sunset, Kimball, Adamson and Molina high schools are marching to the park.
On Saturday, about 15-hundred people marched in downtown Dallas in support of immigrant rights.

"Immigrant rights". Yeah, sure. The campaign by the media to fuse immigrants and illegals into one group is relentless.

The problem isn't that the illegals don't have any rights, it is that they have too many rights... Rights to things that are actually privileges.

I think it's time to dust off the old Texas cry: "Remember the Alamo!"

They have all kinds of human rights but that doesn't include the right to stay in the country unless they are legitimate politcal refugees with a well founded fear of persecution if they return home.

For what it is worth, Oak Cliff is a rough part of Dallas, probably 70% hispanic 29% black and 1% too dumb to move.

When did we start referring to the number 1500 as 15-hundred?

Please call them INVADERS and don't compare them to people who are legal aliens!
President Bush has been great on most things except for our border.
He has been great on the war on terrorists.
But on the border he is a gross failure.
He acted fast and correct on the 3,000+ people murdered at the world trade center.
He ignores the many rapes, murders and robberies which might be larger than the murders and money loss at the world trade center.
More Americans are abducted on the border of Mexico than in Iraq!
Start building the fence.
It should be made a felony for Criminals who overstay their visas and Invaders.
I believe we should give amnesty to these poor CRIMINALS or INVADERS.
This should be a 2 week amnesty to get the heck out of our Country.
The ones who ignore this amnesty should be buried in a tent city jail and fined $10,000 or buried elsewhere.
All aiders and abettors of these CRIMINALS or INVADERS should get 1 year in a tent city jail and a $10,000 fine for each CRIMINAL aided.
Those in government should be the first ones charged.
To: Dr. Scarpetta
Suspend each and every one of them.
And exactly what "rights" are these misguided children speaking of?

How many of those kids are actually leaving to protest, and how many are leaving just to get out of class? How many teachers offered extra credit to those who would attend the "protest"? HMMMMMMM.
It's just like the "walk out" up in Colorado to support the teacher who was caught comparing Bush to "Hitler". The news media interviewed the participating students and a great number of them didn't know why they were there, they were just happy to be out of class.
To: Dr. Scarpetta
ABC said earlier it was happening around much of the country. Many schools have emptied in Cal and many streets are being blocked.
