Thanks. I've been "better" for a long time. The only casualty of the cancer incident was my private pilot's license. I couldn't get the flight surgeon to sign off without lots of paperwork from Kaiser Permanente and they refused to cooperate. After 25 years of software engineering, my eyesight has taken a hit too. I can still pass flight qualifications for military aircrew. That's about all the "fun" I have time for lately.
I had a conversation with an undercover cop 6 years ago about the latino gangs in southern California. He claimed they were caching arms and ammo with the intent of launching a full scale shooting war when they felt sufficiently prepared. The sign waving illegals could easily turn into an armed invasion. Not a pretty prospect.
