Do you consider Ken Mehlman a GOP 'bog shot'?
Here's what he said about her on Sunday night at the Lincoln Day dinner in Sarasota:
"Harris has an incredible record in Congress and she will make a good senator! And he added that she has accomplished more in her time in Congress than Nelson has in the Senate!
But of course all you political experts know more than the RNC Chairman!
I do consider him a GOP bigshot, and I consider those comments to be ambiguous bluster. That's because they are ambiguous bluster.
In the sense of getting publicity, no, I don't think Ken Mehlman is a big enough name. She needs big names that will draw crowds at public events. The RNC chairman talking to the party faithful will not get the job done; in fact, from the sound of things, it didn't even help her campaign all that much financially.
