Easily 20 million. I've seen figures that there might be 10 million just in Calif. and another 10 million in Texas alone.
Everyone keeps using the 10 or 12 million figure so it doesn't look like as big a problem as it really is.

Well at NINE BILLION A YEAR for California alone and another SIX BILLION A YEAR for TN,NM & AZ, I'd say that it's a HUGE PROBLEM!
Too bad we don't have anyone in D.C. and/or the national press corps exposing the problem!
