Authorities are investigating the possible poisoning of two Sarpy County Sheriff's deputies who became ill after eating at a restaurant.
Tests showed one deputy had methamphetamine in her system.
The deputies ate lunch at the so-far-unnamed restaurant nearly two weeks ago. Shortly after the meal, they noticed symptoms.
An investigation is under way to determine whether meth was intentionally put in the deputy's food.

I hope they catch the person who did this. I'm sure they thought they were being funny by slipping meth to some sheriff deputies.
But this story could have had a very sad ending. Luckily, it didn't.
Opinions or comments - anyone?
Any uniformed police officer that chooses to eat at a restaurant has got to be insane or have a death wish.
A lot of people have a real axe to grind with cops.
Many incidents of cooks etc spitting on cops food, wiping their asses with their hamburger buns and much more.
Whatever you do, dont make the cook mad.
Unfortunately the cops make a LOT of people mad.
sounds like one deputy had a private weight loss plan to me
Rule no.1...Don't piss off the cook (or the Chef).
She couldn't have had a HABIT???
Right:
If it says "Home Style Cooking" you better find out what kinda home it was.
Also:
Never play poker with anyone named "Doc"
Strange that only one of them had meth in their system.
That is a thought.
Maybe she got with her "pants down" re drugs and decided to blame the cafe.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Two very good rules to live by! LOL!
LOL
Another:
Never ever drink downstream from the herd.....
One cop was doing drugs and should be in jail. Not sure what happened to both of them. Maybe there trying to cook up a lawsuit.

from my old drug days (been clean 20 yrs.) meth speed is very bitter if it had been mixed in someones food you would be able to taste it right off the git go.
I've heard about putting hamburger buns on the toilet seat (May be an urban legend...I hope;)
