TORONTO, Canada (The Catholic Register) Quaker and Christian Peacemaker Teams leader Tom Fox was remembered by Christians and Muslims together at a Mass in a Baghdad Roman Catholic parish March 12, the Sunday after his body was found.
*snip*
"We observed the human-rights abuses of the American armed forces and the chaos that the people were living through. And this time, with the kidnapping and the ultimate death of Tom Fox, I started to realize that we had shifted from being observers to being actual participants, victims, whatever you like."

I wander if he said that to the face of an SAS or JTF II or DELTA special ops when they saved his sorry ass?
Talk is cheap!
A thank-you will suffice

Peace activists are human garbage.
To think good men were put at risk to rescue that scum.

When I see the Catholics publishing this kind of drivel, I wonder who side they are on?

Ninth Commandment: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour."
I guess this commandment can be put on hold for the higher purpose of making common cause with any and all enemies of the US.

The best descriptions I have seen of these masochistic losers is that they are not really Christian Peacemaker Teams; they are Christian Warmaker Teams... supporting the "other" side...
'Nuff said.

Of course the ones that were holding them were mere freedom fighters for their cause. The Soldiers who freed them are the terrorists in their eyes. Seems the MSM will somehow blame Bush for the peaceniks wounds and give no credit for their rescue...

That is what I would like to know. Can't seem to find an email address to that website to let them know how disgusting I think this article is.

"I've got to say, I've been wounded by this."
Obviously his wounds are not deep enough. Screw him and the camel he rode in on. His life was not worth the bother since he seemed to be so much more enamored with the enemy than the fine gentlemen who rescued his sorry ass.
To: oldleft
One more thing he should have said at the Mass for Tom was, "There, but for the grace of God, and the Multinational Forces that rescued me, go I."

There are some people whose brains have a few wires crossed.

"The memorial for Fox was not announced ahead of time, but was quietly incorporated into regular Sunday worship so as not to attract the attention of suicide bombers, Christian Peacemaker Teams member Alan Slater told The Catholic Register shortly after returning from six weeks on duty with Christian Peacekeeping Teams in Baghdad." They hide in fear from them even as they seek to defend them. Pathetic.

It's difficult to imagine anyone who calls himself a Christian voicing such compassion, forgiveness, and support for the enemies of all for which Christ stands, and not being able to muster a simple thank you to the ones who risked their lives rescuing him - not to mention the families of those who risked their lives, isn't it?
