CAIR Urges Immediate Release of Afghan Christian. A U.S. Islamic advocacy group criticized for not speaking out immediately about the trial of an Afghan Muslim who may get the death penalty for converting to Christianity is calling for the man's immediate release.

You will never ever ever ever see CAIR condemn the Muslim ghouls who demand this "apostate's" death. This CAIR statement is an easy PR score for those slugs. The mainstream media will trumpet this far and wide

You said -- "I hope CAIR is sincere. Actions will speak louder than press releases."

They're absolutely not sincere. Take a look at Post #15, in regards to Takeyya and the Doctrine of Abrogation. Both of these explain everything you need to know about anything "Islam" and any Muslim. They will lie to your face.

CAIR cannot be a spokesman for Islam (in this country) and not know about Takeyya and the Doctrine of Abrogation. They know; they're hoping *you* don't know. They would not be accepted by any Muslim or clerics -- *unless* -- those clerics also understood Takeyya and the Doctrine of Abrogation. They do know this and that's why those same "radical Muslim clerics" don't deny everything that CAIR is saying. They know they need CAIR to continually fool and mislead everyone in this country -- until they can take over and serve "justice" at the end of their Islamic sword (on your neck, most likely).

The Quran's Doctrine of Abrogation
Prepared by Abdullah Al Araby
In an attempt to polish Islam's image, Muslim activists usually quote verses from the Quran that were written in the early days of the Islamic movement while Mohammed lived in Mecca. Those passages make Islam appear loving and harmless because they call for love, peace and patience. Such is a deception. The activists fail to tell gullible people that such verses, though still in the Quran, were nullified, abrogated, rendered void by later passages that incite killing, decapitations, maiming, terrorism and religious intolerance. The latter verses were penned while Mohammed’s headquarters was based in Medina.

When speaking with people of Christianized/Western societies, Muslim activists deliberately hide a major Islamic doctrine called "al-Nasikh wal-Mansoukh" (the Abrogator and the Abrogated). This simply means that in situations wherein verses contradict one another, the early verses are overridden by the latter verses. (text continues)

"I was responding to CAIR's motive for speaking out being "image", rather than conviction. THAT is weasily."

Oh, OK you were responding to your assumption rather then the facts.

Since they have supported their statements with quotations from what they claim to be their most holy book, I don't see how they could back off from it now.

Since their function appears to be to act as a spokesgroup for issues concerning Islamics in America, I wouldn't expect them to change and attempt to become some sort of voice of American Islamics against the rest of the world. This press release itself seems to be out of their "jurisdiction", and I would not expect too much of this type of response.

Nice to see it though.

Thanks RS. You should see post #15.
It will explain my doubts.

This is great!!! This brother in Christ is going to cause a great debate about freedom of religion within Afghanistan. The debate can't help but spill over into Pakistan. And the debate will probably spread across the entire Islamic world.

Potential Positives...

This is kind of like when one claims the ACLU is a liberal group, the response always is:

But they defended the NAZI's in Skokie.

From your link -

"Muslim activists deliberately hide a major Islamic doctrine called "al-Nasikh wal-Mansoukh" (the Abrogator and the Abrogated)."

Isn't it curious that for a "major Islamic doctrine" these phrases only appear on a few hundred webpages, and it appears that all of those are anti-Islamics ? Hhmmmm ?

For a MAJOR doctrine I would think it would be widely spread on legitimate islamic sites, don't you ?

After reading the link above in Star Traveler's post titled "Abrogation".

I'm not sure how much an emphasis on contradictions is going to hurt Islam. It appears Islam is very much aware of the many contradictions and have adopted this policy of abrogation to deal with it.

[...I pray that the Holy Spirit would rest upon the man's defense team and give them the words to say...]

I will agree with your prayer, in Jesus' name.

GREAT points. Well done. Romans 8:28.

You said -- "For a MAJOR doctrine I would think it would be widely spread on legitimate islamic sites, don't you ?"

Ahhhh..., but there you go... you're caught in the matter of Takeyya -- a catch-22 situation.

But, then again, reading about all those "contradictions" (and there are a lot), they had to come up with some way to resolve them. And what makes more sense than to say that the "newer" portions now replace the "older" portions? Makes perfect sense to me.

However, the problem comes in when the Muslims start quoting the "older" ones which are no longer relevant, and try to pretend that these are the ones you should pay attention to, when they know that they've already been replaced.

Why did it turn out that way? Well..., from what I understand, Mohammed (in the beginning) was trying to get the Jews and Christians "on board" with his "new-fangled religion". The Jews and Christians were too smart to be "bamboozled" by the old goat -- so he got mad at them and started changing all the "older" portions -- to show that he is *now really pissed* at them for not accepting him as a "new prophet". And so, now it's the "new portions" (the "mad Mohammed") that apply. And that's why that old "mad goat" is now trying to cut off the heads of all the Jews and Christians. "Didn't they really realize that I was a prophet?" [I can just hear him say that as he's spewing his invectives at those dirty ole Jews and ignorant Christians...]

And believe me, he's "mad" in more ways than one... for sure....

Star Traveler

Well I am gonna take a different route. Why criticize CAIR? They are not occupying the Afghanistan, we are! If ourgovernment lets this guy be murdered (that is what it is), then why in the heck are we still there?
We made a huge mistake by letting Afghanistan and Iraq have Islamic theocracies imo. We have spent billions of dollars and sent our young men and women in there to die. For what, so things can remain the same?
Our government better get off their butts and stop this.

I don't think it will have very much effect on those people who are caught and trapped in Islam right now.

What I do hope for -- more -- is that it wakes up the people in the United States to the need to totally and completely eliminate Islam as a legal and viable religion for anyone to choose or practice. Islam should be eliminated from practice, everywhere -- simply on the basis of its evil and lying nature and the impossibility of ever changing it. We eliminated the Third Reich in Germany. We should eliminate Islam from ever existing in this world. It is unlike any other religion and it's straight from Satan himself.

You say -- "Why criticize CAIR?"

Well, for starters, for being the lying and duplicitous Islamic group that they are. Ooops, I repeated myself by saying "Islamic". Sorry.

Hmmmm. If our Government won't defend Christians here in the U.S.,
why should they defend them in Afghanistan? (Tongue firmly in cheek)

I see your point. Not convinced... yet. Some things are "providential".

That's *exactly right* -- and along with that -- Takeyya. With those tools, they can lie their way into any country. Just take a look at CAIR. They lie for a living and call it "defending their faith". Ha!

Yeah I agree. Was just making a point that if after 3 yrs there it is just the status quo with a different leader then what was the point? Coulda been done a heckuva lot cheaper and easier.

If I were an Islamo Fascist, I would cut Bin Laden's head off. His attack on the United States has wrought
Liberty, Democracy, Christianity and the Light of Truth upon the Arab world. Darkness cannot dwell in the Light.
