TOPEKA (AP) - Kansans will be able to carry concealed guns after the House on Thursday overrode Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' veto of a gun bill, allowing it to become law this summer.
The vote was 91-33, giving supporters of the measure seven votes more than the two-thirds majority necessary. The Senate voted Wednesday night to override the veto, 30-10, with three votes more than needed.
Congrats!!
Congratulations Kansans!
Do they have reciprocity???
great.
Welcome to the "wild, wild, west" as liberals would say.
Welcome to lower crime rates and added freedom as conservatives would say.
It's good news -- I know a lot of long, hard work went into this over many years.

I suppose Pennsylvania won't be on the list.
Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS to Kansans for insisting on freedom and compliance with the United States Constitution by their state government!
Does this mean Gov. Kathleen Sebelius will be tossed in the next election?
One answered prayer at a time......:}
Congratulations Kansans -
Congrats! now you need to pass "stand your ground" legislation and vote your gov out on her hoplophobic ass.
Hopefully voters in Kansas will dump her just like Texans dumped Ann Richards for vetoing CHL here. She lost the election to a fellow named Bush who signed concealed carry into law.
In yo' FACE, Beeeyotch!
so how would that work for residents of alaska or vermont, that don't require permits?
Alaska still issues permits (just doesn't require them).
She should have cut a deal on the gambling. Now she is going to welp a cow before she gets that passed.
It's along way from NJ!
Turn Kansas from black to red.
