"The astounding sense of entitlement of some".
I guess the "astounding sense of entitlement" now belongs to the government who want to regulate and penalize every bit of behavior by it's citizens.
It's laughable that the Dims in this country have their knickers in a twist about our government trying to listen in on the conversations of Islamofascist terrorists who are trying to kill us all, and yet day by day the governments erode our "rights" by penalties on trivial behavior.
Plus,.. special commuter lanes are elitist and cause worse traffic congestion, pollution and damage to our precious "environment".
I never want to hear from liberals about "rights" - at best they confuse them with what are only privileges, and at worst - they love taking all our rights away. Tying it in here, the fact you "have to have" a baby seat is outrageous. The fact you can be fined and molested for not having a baby seat - or the "correct kind" is asinine. And of course, they're trying to increase the age of child seats; ridiculous and a BOON to all the baby companies (whom liberals hate - right?).
The woman should have a sense of entitlement, her gasoline taxes go to pay for the construction and maintenance of underused carpool lanes. Such lanes would be better named "government employee" express lanes as those are about the only employees who arrive at work at the same time, work the same number of hours and leave, en masse at the end of the day.
"The astounding sense of entitlement of some"
That caught my eye too. She (like all drivers) pays for the road, yet they find her sense of "entitlement" "astounding".
And we are threatened with our personal destruction for noncompliance.
