Consider John Cornyn- and I'm not sure of him yet! Make your own choice.
Not so simple to simply vote against all incumbents when the challenger is a democrat.
I mentioned that earlier.
Kerry didn't approach McCain to be his running mate to seek to present the image to the public that he would reach across the aisle if elected. He wanted McCain to be his VP. Does anyone really believe Kerry would have coveted Sessions for his VP? How about Kyl?
So folks need to ask themselves why a Liberal Traitor in a highly politicized period of our history would covet McCain on his ticket.
I don't know if you noticed the links section, but one of them was to a tendentious piece published in The Nation, and another to a screed carried by Prison Planet, which is basically an even nuttier version of the website run by Alex Jones, i.e. infowars.com.
This is why Wikipedia can't be relied upon as a legitimate research tool.
Leaving aside the fact that most of the credible information is copied verbatim from legitimate reference tools, e.g. Encyclopedia Britannica, even the information that is not cribbed directly from another source is tainted by a pervasive left wing-and in some cases, conspiratorial-bias.
You need look no further than the Wikis of any prominent Islamic terrorist, which are unfailingly hagiographies.
The editing of entries about Islam are controlled by Islamic supremacists, and the ones about politics are dominated by left wing ideologues.
They have administrators that haven't even graduated from high school, let alone college, and yet Wikipedia purports to be an authoritative source, as if it were simply an online encyclopedia.
People can swarm Wikis-and do-and "vandalize" an entry, but most of the entries revolving around controversial political or social issues are so thoroughly riddled with inaccuracies and partisanship that it's hard to tell what constitutes vandalism, or to distinguish between a valid contribution and a drive-by.
In short, it fails on multiple levels, the most striking being its flawed methodology.
Doesn"t that make him an Ace for the enemy?
Much more palatable. LOL
I'm not a big fan of the people running for the nomination, but I'd at least vote for most of them. McCain, Hagel and Newt are exceptions.
I just wish J.C. would run against McCain in '10.
Question for anyone: When is the House "recess" referred to in this entry?

(H.R. 1606) and will take up the matter after the House recess.
The Rules Committee was in a closed session until about 6:15pm. Constrained by a Democratic fundraising dinner and unable to come to a compromise on a rule for 1606 - it's been pulled until after the recess.
Keep in mind, friends - the root of the problem is this: Wertheimer, McCain, Shays, etc - the entire band of folks that hate your ability to speak - are threatening to "take down" (or try) any rule that does not let them offer their substitute (4900) on the floor.
That would be the same group of people that howled bloody murder when HR1606 - AFTER having gone through Committee, was brought to the floor under suspension. But when it's their bill - apparently bypassing the committee structure altogether is just fine.
I agree. Hearing exactly what you say by many many conservatives who have severe issues with current immigration policy and globalization.
I'd post the whole darn thing. Good job of finding it.
"OK, there are six big blogs out there John and maybe five of them won't have much to say about this issue. But in all the confusion I think you forgot about Free Republic. So the question is Johnny, do you feel lucky? Well do ya, punk?"
Trust me Johnny, you don't want to tangle with us.
Thank you for a factual, thoughtful post.
I am getting tired and I appreciate your interest and back up regarding that silly site. It is not reliably factual. It's simply not. I never use it.
You sound like you think you're the only ones who have been doing that.
So have the rest of us; we just don't agree with you.
BTW, the RNC has more money today than it's had in years -- donations have actually increased.
Don't worry; I have it bookmarked, ready to run, along with hundreds of others.
I'm franky amazed at some of the things that some of the "newbies" on here do not know about the Clintons; we're ready for them........LOL.
Thanks for informing me. I just added under "race for President 2004" at the McCain entry:
McCain accused the Swift Boat Vet campaign against his longtime friend John Kerry of being "dishonest and dishonorable".
Kerry and McCain could have swapped traitor stories during a beer session.
Can anyone tell me why Hannity is so keen on McCain? I can't stand McCain. Pick almost any issue and he comes down on the side opposite of conservatives.
Try thinking
beyond party... and on country
That's nuthin... I feel the same way about our Governor, the Grinninator!!! The two of 'em belong in the same pod!!!
See how easy it is?
The site is a joke of a "resource."
Look at Muslim entries, but I warn you, you'll HURL.
