Re: Your attempt to shut down political free speech on the Internet
John McCain, you treasonous bastard, I challenge you or any of your traitorous cohorts to find even one thread, one post, one paragraph, one sentence or even one lousy word posted to this web site that is not fully protected by the First Amendment!
And I will extend that to one chapter, one group, one poster or any group of posters on this forum. Name one assembly, petition, letter, protest, meeting or rally convened, filed, submitted, attended or supported by members of this forum that is not 100% protected and guaranteed as free speech or free assembly by the First Amendment!
Your McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation is a treasonous act. You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too.
How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. And that's a campaign promise you can take to the bank.
You can take your fascist campaign finance laws and the jackbooted FEC anti-free-speech enforcers you are empowering and put them where the sun don't shine. And if this post is in violation of your unconstitutional law, shove it too!
Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed:
The Beast never dies, it simply changes form. The Beast has known many forms: Bolshevism, communism, Nazism, fascism. The Beast has had many names: Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot.
The Beast cannot co-exist with freedom. The very first freedom lost is the freedom of speech, then religion, knowledge and the arts. Anything that empowers the individual must be destroyed. The state must control all.
Power to the state.
Power as an end to itself.
Those who speak out against the Beast are labeled extremists, radicals, warmongers. Churchill, McCarthy, Reagan.
The Beast must be contained, appeased. We must have "Detente" at any cost. Direct confrontation of the Beast must be avoided.
Appease him and pray the wolf may pass our door.
Free speech must die.
The Beast never dies.
Some of the freepers are thinking of McCain mainly as the Campaign finance devil..and I even asked Jim if pending legislation that would affect FR was involved in his decision to post his rant...
BUT, let us now forget his "Torture amendment", where he accused our troops of torture at Gitmo...and sees a cold night in a cell as "torture"!!!
Please, see that McCain is just so much worse than President Bush...
I know you are big into the border control...McCain wants total amnesty with Kennedy.
Character counts and McLame lacks it.
Bush said from day one, the speach on 9-20-01 (ish) this would be a long battle. I'm picking out burka colors. It's going to have to get really bad before this country realizes what we gave up. All we did was put a bandaid on liberalism.
This had to be said. Thank you, JimRob.
You think they give one crap what we think? You know how completely out of touch they are.
They think WE are wrong.
Oh I love being called a girl.... makes these hot flashes almost bearable! : )
He was not a serious student at the USNA. I know that. I am married to a classmate of McCain's.
My understanding is you could expect this website to be shut down prior to elections to prevent prohibited political speech.
I was referring to the 1st Amendment to the Constitution which McCain does not respect. And the inference was that staytrue would vote for McCain. So the logical conclusion is... obvious.

They better start paying attention .. because they may get a serious wake up call
We "are" girls!
Nice try.
Reagan didn't support the O'Connor we all celebrated the retirement of. He would have been appalled at how casual she had become about the Constitution. Whereas McCain mourned the retirement of this woman based on her inarticulate slap shod interpretations of the Constitution.
Do not try to tear down Reagan to prop up that man. There is not ONE honest person that believes he'd have supported her had he known this would be her record. McCain has no excuse. he knows her record and approves. This is a stark difference between the two men, so do not repeat that nonsense again.
Judicial appointments, tax cuts, attempts at tort reform and school vouchers (both filibustered by the dems), mostly hands off gun control, better family values than the dems, pro business, welfare reform in 1996, attempted partial privatization of social security, respect for the military, anti pornography.
In your opinion, of course.
Good question. I almost puked when I saw him featured as a "Legend of Airpower". Almost as bad as Eugene McCarthy. Ridiculous.
Bush is NOT on McCain's side on the torture policy...and he is not nearly as bad as McCain on the amnesty issue.
And neither one of them are as bad as Reagan was on the amnesty issue.
