The problem with the Theory of Relativity is that once you understand it, at least conceptually, everything becomes relative.

And then everything you think is common sense turns out to be false, so you either begin drinking heavily or just huddle in a corner and shake.

Or you start watching South Park to make some meaning of life.

Relativity does not cause you to think that everything becomes relative.

The whole point is that the speed of light in a vacuum is absolutely constant. No matter where you are or what you are doing, light is always rigidly exactly the same.

It gave new meaning to my life.

Relatively speaking, of course.

You mean that's an either/or? I was told it was my heavy drinking that was causing me to huddle in a corner and shake...
