          I once quipped to an atheist that his creed had the disadvantage of no holidays. He replied that they celebrated everyone else's. I should have invited him to fast on Yom Kippur.

          Atheists would have a better image but for the Newdows amongst their numbers.

Exactly. It seems like everytime there's an attempt to get any trace of religion out of public life, it was an atheist behind it. Considering they represent such a small minority of our population and culture, they sure seem to have a big impact as far as Christmas displays, naming of traditional school holidays, messing with the Pledge, getting prayer out of school, trying to get *In God We Trust* off our money, .... to name a few.
