never, ever, a bother, TXBSAFH. We've followed you and prayed for you through your wife's illness during pregnancy, the girls' birth, their intervening ailments and now this .. they are always in our prayers. You all are.
Blessings on Anastasia and your whole family.

My friend, Hang in there!....as always you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

A. Thoughts and prayers for your daughter.
B. NO NEED for apologies.
C. Get her a cerebral MRI ASAP. My 3-yr-old daughter had some minor seizures and testing ultimately revealed that she has a "previously unseen mutation of the TS-21 gene". I.E. She has tuberous sclerosis.
Since that diagnosis, we immediately put her on Trileptal (anti-seizure med) and she's now been seizure-free for over a year now. Her development was not impacted - she's a bright, curious, gorgeous little girl (just like yours, I'm sure!)
Don't panic and don't worry...but do seek advanced diagnosis ASAP. Don't settle for X-Rays (largely useless) and CAT scans. Insist on an MRI!

My daughter Anastasia is having what the peditrician thinks are seizures.I'm so sorry to hear this--my presence has been pretty spotty but I know your family has been through a rough time.
My prayers are with Anastasia.

Our prayers are with you, but please, take your little daughter to a neurologist... The more "experts" you see, the better you will feel... Sometimes, these new "experts" do expose "new" things...

I agree with the previous reply--get her to the closest (Texas?) children's medical hospital -preferably a teaching hospital. You can get her into the Emergency Department for seizures- then you have access to a good assessment and referral to one of their neurologists. I don't think hearing it "may be a medicine for reflux" is enough of an answer for you if she continues to have the symptoms you are describing. As a mother of a complex and chronically ill child I can tell you to keep trying to pursue getting the right help--the health care system is complex and sometimes it is hard to find the help you need. I am also a nurse at a hospital with a good medical school--and these are the best places to get help for difficult health problems such as your daughter has. You are her advocate--don't be shy about going over your pediatrician- they are not always good at managing complex health problems and sometimes they do not make the referral to a specialist when they should. Be strong and I wish you well finding the help you and your daughter need!

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You for our FReeper family, so earnest to join in prayer, one for another. May it be, Merciful Father, that little Annie's seizures are so easily treatable ... direct TX and his wife to the medical team whom You have chosen to bring about her healing. Comfort and strengthen the parents who agonize over her condition ... let the seizures diminish without lasting consequence. Thank You for the words of wisdom expressed to Annie's parents ... thank You for leading them in the way they should go. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we praise You, Amen ...

Please investigate the use of high fat diets for cases like this. I do not know how old she is but young children should not have reflux NOR take reflux drugs.
Find out if she is allergic to wheat!
