Dear All,
I am sorry to bother you all again but something has come up that has me obviously scare witless. My daughter Anastasia is having what the peditrician thinks are seizures. She goes limp and her eyes roll back in her head. These last only a minute or two but she is not eating well either. There is a remote possiblity that this is related to a new med she is taking for her reflux. Of course we are taking her off this now. I am sorry to bother you all again but this is the thrid major medical problem since Christmas with her. Thank you all and God Bless YOU.

Doing better, but it will be years until we know what if any problems she may have. She will be on these meds for at least one year. She may have developmental issues and behaviorial issues as well. Plus she has a better then 50/50 chance of being ADHD. We are working on her development daily. Thanks.

Hmmm, ADHD...are they linking it to seizures in infancy, then? My son was thought to have infantile spasms at 6 months, as you know, and although the seizures stopped on their own, he was diagnosed with ADD at age 6. It DOES run in both families, but the doctors never said one of the sequela might be ADD...of course, this was 23 years ago so hopefully they know a lot more about the condition now.
Anyway, you and your family are still in my prayers - and welcome to the Church!

TSBSAFH ... I've never stopped praying for your family ... I guess I relate too much to the twins. Glad things are looking up, and hope it continues going in Anastasia's (and your) direction.
After all these stresses and fears, I would really agree that some serious thereapy is not a bad idea for you and yoru wife. After we went thru a trauma with one of our twins, the docs inssited we do that, and we "didn't have time" so of course the emotional recovery took that much longer. When you can catch your breath, give it some more thought.
Thanks for keeping us posted.
