Dear All,
I am sorry to bother you all again but something has come up that has me obviously scare witless. My daughter Anastasia is having what the peditrician thinks are seizures. She goes limp and her eyes roll back in her head. These last only a minute or two but she is not eating well either. There is a remote possiblity that this is related to a new med she is taking for her reflux. Of course we are taking her off this now. I am sorry to bother you all again but this is the thrid major medical problem since Christmas with her. Thank you all and God Bless YOU.

I will send a prayer for you. My two toddler girls have been very ill all winter as well. The youngest (2) just had a seizure a month ago and it was terrifying. Here was a great article I found that helped put me a bit more at ease: http://www.webmd.com/content/article/27/1728_61180.htm . It says that child seizures are often tougher on the parents than they are of the child.
In her case, the doctors don't know what caused it but figured it was that her electrolytes/body chemistry were completely out of whack due to a bad bout of rotavirus.

Scream, cry, holler, get mad....get IN there and don't let the nurse at the front desk say the doc is booked up for awhile. Dat's my advice..

My niece has a three month old daughter...and this same thing has been happening....somehow involved with a very bad reflux problem. Get yourselves to a top pediatric hospital. They were also having problems with the meds, dosage...seems it is sometimes a steroid. We are located in the Northeast...I don't know your location...but if you need doctor info. please contact me.
My prayers for Anastasia and her quick recovery. Hopefully it is readily treatable and she can improve and not have any more seizures. Prayers also for you and your family.

I'll second it. Get second and third opinions, from the best. And find out about the meds -- if they are causing that, you need to know that too.

Prayers have been sent for Anastasia. May the Lord heal her completely. It doesn't matter if you need to come to us once a day for prayer, so please don't worry about asking for prayer. It is a Blessing to pray for her and for you. Please keep us posted.
