Irey Will Run For Congress
POSTED: 1:32 pm EST March 22, 2006 Washington County Commissioner Diana Irey is expected to announce her plans to run for Congress.
Irey, a Republican, will challenge veteran 12th district Congressman John Murtha for his house seat in November.
She is expected to make a formal announcement Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown.
