I saw that and did not like it either. That 'great' freeper lost respect for it.

I saw that also, just remember the Great One treats Sean like a brother and he takes any criticism of Sean almost like criticism of him.

Too bad it's that way cause the two are miles apart in substance and delivery. I've noticed holdonnow has been absent his live threads lately, maybe I'm paranoid.

holdonnow is just who he is...

very loyal...
I disagree with him on things... but I love his basic integrity and values....

truly supporting people means doing in so in SPITE of disagreeing....

although... once the basic foundation of shared values is shattered... loyalty can easily become plain stubbornness or blind habit....

not that I have EVERY BEEN STUBBORN OR ANYTHING!

LOL!

I understand, but was surprised nonetheless.

he seemed to back off after someone that had been disruptive on his thread accused him of calling Gen Abizaid a dirt bag...

it was a 1000 post thread with Mark just incensed because he had not said that. Jim Rob got involved, and the offending FReeper was banished to DUville...but only after he was given the opportunity to retract an apologize which was AFTER the transcript of what he said was posted.

The transcript, btw, showed clearly that Mark had said nothing of the kind...the FReeper refused to apologize and, in fact, tried to weasel out of the accusation. Mr Jim Rob deep-sixed him at that point.

I haven't seen Mark post much since then.

moral of the story: there is always someone that will bugger things up for the majority.

Of course Levin and Hannity are buddies.

In a sense, Sean gave Levin his exposure which led to his hosting his own talk radio show.

Prior, Mark was another talking head expert during Clinton's impeachment.

IMNSHO, Hannity, while proving very helpful during the presidential elections...is a lightweight compared to the mental prowress of Levin.

This could be the difficulty of filling in 3 hours of radio and an hour of tv everyday...all the while trying to placate sponsors.
