Which side are you? I'm with Katherine Harris.<<
So am I !
All the way, for she has dedicated herself to this race,
so I am comitted to supporting her from my own state,
in whatever humble ways I can, win or lose !

As of this posting there is a total of 182! So let say many of them are double posted leaving about 100 different posts!!
I counted at least 23, and you know very well WHO you are, constantly spamming your negative posts about Kathrine Harris; Hmmmmm???
1/4 of so called "conservative" and most of them out of State, not eligible to vote here, will be posting negative thoughts about OUR candidates. Question is: What is your real motivation for that?
When I see that kind of "slander" I start wonder if I'm in the right forum, (or have I ended up on DU?), where I prefer edification over sending negative messages to the "drive-by" LSM's propaganda AGAINST Ms. Harris.
Wouldn't it be much more productive to spend your energy to take on Senator McLame who now is trying to silent you and me here on Jim R's forum by his un-Constitutional campaign "reform"1??!
However, IF you are real Conservatives, there is southing positive you could help us, why not JOIN us instead, hugh???
:..............
Dear supporters,
On Wednesday night, Congresswoman Katherine Harris made an important announcement. She announced on National television that she is fully committed to winning the U.S. Senate seat in Florida this November.
"There is so much at stake for our country and our state," Katherine said last night. "I'm in this race and I'm going to win it."
As you may know, our campaign has come under fire recently. But this has not stopped us for a moment. Katherine Harris has fought for Floridians at the state and federal levels of government for many years with an outstanding record of accomplishments. It will be no different in the U.S. Senate.
I will get right to the point. Our campaign needs your support right now. We need to show the Democrats and Bill Nelson that our campaign is powerful and we have what it takes to win. Right now, the Nelson campaign is terrified because Katherine committed $10 million to win this race and Nelson no longer has a financial advantage. She is confident in her fight for U.S. Senate and as she stated last night, "I am willing to put everything on the line."
Please help our campaign today and make a financial contribution by going to this link. We need your help to maintain our momentum and your donation of $25, $50 or even $100 will make the difference. The first quarter filing deadline is rapidly approaching at the end of March, so your contribution today is vital. We are all dedicated to helping Katherine become the next U.S. Senator so please join our campaign team today.
Sincerely,
Jamie Miller
Campaign Manager

Exactly. There have to be dozens of conservative Republican office holders in Florida who are just as qualified as Harris, if not moreso, who could run for the Senate now. Relying on two or three people for every important office is how we lose these seats when they become open.

Please, then give us some names that we may be able to consider???

Well, if you see Ms. Harris anytime soon, just let her know there's a whole bunch of people out here just like me who hold her in the highest regard!
And thank you for your compliment, I appreciate that!

She is already happily married to a wonderful man who absolutely adores her!
The husband is Swedish!
Also, interesting that it has been quiet here, suddenly!??!

""When the way you look and sound outweighs what you say, you're gonna have problems.""
Yeah, our President has had these problems.
Still, this is a reason not to vote for Harris?
Bob Dole looks weird. So does Trent Lott. So does Newt. So does Frist. So does the mustache guy at the UN, our rep. Cheney, actually, and only a girl would say it, was hot when he worked in the Ford White House. (Then he lost his hair.) Bush is cute but ungroomed, or rather, unstylishly groomed, like he goes to the kid in beauty school for SuperCuts to get a better rate than Supercuts. Bush talks weird too, and his hand gesticulations and speech rhythms are nut-so.
So I guess you didn't vote for Bush because of the "way he looks and sounds"?

I do not know why you are posting this message to me !
I am a supporter of Harris, not a detractor, nor a mindless booster !
If you have read my posting on this and other threads, you would know that .
I take her campaign seriously, but I am also level-headed about this race .
I have been making donations to her cmapaign every month for the past seven months !
I did accidently post the same comment on the same thread twice to clear a typo - that is all !
And like I said to 'CaliforniaJones', LIGHTEN UP !
So many on this thread and on this forum, including 'Fieldmarhsaldj' and 'Clintonfatigued', need to get that stick out of your a$$ . .

There are a lot of us Conservatives outside of Florida who hold her in high regard !

marc: this was not targeted at you because I sure liked your post quoting President T.R.:.........

Then I posted mine for the rest of the 23 - 25 K.H.'s negative "spammers" to read again your excellent quote plus what they actually are doing to pull down OUR candidate.
All their posts reminds me of people like cindy sheeeehan's "stalking" the President, or of the newly rescued pacifier "peacemakers" in Iraq, and yet THEY are NOT K.H.'s constituents, but telling us here in Fla that we are a bunch of looser!??! I'm surprised this taking place on a conservative discussion forum. Please give me a break!!!

The president has SOMETHING TO SAY. Mrs. Harris does not.
She is a nice person who should stay in a safe House seat in Sarasota.

What is it that is so different from Harris's message than the President's --besides her necessary love of Florida and protectionist economic stance regarding Florida?
In other words, please back up your crass generality:""The President HAS SOMETHING TO SAY. Mrs. Harris does not."" with some specifics.

Clearly I do have a lot to do. But I am inspired by Harris so there are psychological benefits to keeping the record as clear as possible where she's concerned. I simply don't understand the GOP dismissal/discrediting/dislike of her.

Good for you. But for what you're trying to do, I fear it's too late.
Just look at the article at the head of this thread. Everyone I know in DC and FL reads this as desperation on her part. As a veteran of many political races at this level of government, I can tell you that it is a sign of weakness - not of strength - and that Cong. Harris should not have done it. Politics is like anything else in life: Lead from strength, not from weakness.

This decision to spend all her assets on a quixotic bid for the Senate smacks of mental illness. If she could win, she would be able to raise the money. I've been reviewing past 'rat troll posts like this one and have come across quite a few filthy lib talking points.
Google search for quixotic, Harris, Bill Nelson
I'll ping you to others later.
