You are amazing! I remember taking the test; I was the same as you,(Counselor)? Can't find my name? Maybe I flunked?

Thanks, Alamo Girl! You rock!

Next time I run across someone who wants to dispute, argue or insult, I'm going to look up his/her personality type to see if there's a trend. LOL

Did I read this correctly? That of the 538 participants, the single largest group (191)--and it was larger by a fair margin over all the other groups -- scored as INTJs?

Here's the story on INTJs from the MTBI people: 2.1% of the adults in the US are INTJs. "They like to solve complex problems through generating new ideas and concepts and developing logical solutions. They enjoy intellectual challenges and are good at creating new systems and with conducting technical analysis. INTJ’s like learning new ideas, are very independent and focused and question and challenge ideas before accepting them. They are skilled at strategic planning and at implementing their plan." [See http://www.coscc.cc.tn.us/careerservices/MBTI%20Types/INTJ.htm]

So, here's the interesting question. INTJs are uncommon in the population to begin with, and a strong plurality of the poll participants identified as INTJ. Why would that be? Is there any comparable data for DUers, or Daily Kos? What a fascinating comparison that would be...

All my data is correct.

I see someone made the list for ESTP. All by their lonesome.

Some of the other catagories only had a few people in them.

A bell shaped curve, for sure.

More Masterminds than anything.

Very interesting results.

Great work! However, I don't know whether to be depressed that my INTJ type is over-represented in FReepers (I thought I was special), or happy that there are so many who think the way I do.

The description about INTJ types thinking in terms of systems and wanting people to 'make sense' is right on for me. I use systems analysis in my research and an overarching assumption I have is that people don't make sense, they screw up, and how this lack of sense is manifested in organizations.

I do have good social skills, tho. But then, I'm not a comp sci major or an engineer. : )

Thanks so much for all of the hard work on this facinating and fun project! I read the link about the INFJ - the Idealist 'Counselor' description and it truly is remarkable how dead on it is. It really does describe me and what other's have said about me.

Thanks again for doing this! : )

Wow! I am just now finding out about this project. This is fascinating. Brings me back to when my daughter took the AP Psych class in high school.

I took the test just now and scored as an ISFJ (56, 25, 12, 78) - HA! So they think I'm judgemental eh?

Kudos to all who obviously worked so hard on this!!!!!
