Seemingly it hasn't dawned on you that, pretty much by definition, caring a rat's hindquarters about the so-called "Commonwealth Games" goes hand-in-hand with a deep-set colonial mentality.

Using its television ratings as a fair indicator, it's quite apparent they generate little or no interest in the Northern Hemisphere other than, as one might expect, within the one-time "mother country".

It's results are akin to whatever national standings resulted from the "Special Olympics": as in, who cares?
It's also not unlike the Special Olympics - which at least has an obvious excuse - in the ridiculous number of medals being doled out.
